AMP. Always Electric.

Volume 2, No. 1

–For the Franks. For Gordon.

A death
And old friends gathered

We pulled ourselves close
Again, the stories fresh in their age

Our arms grieving together, our eyes seeing
What wasn’t, what is,

Our mouths part of the parting
Saying, yes, so good to see you

Then, yes, be well

As we closed the apartment door
And night dropped

Around each of us
And the other darkness we warmed to
